From the Red Sea city of Aqaba, Jordan’s only port, set sail on the cobalt blue waters in a region associated with King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
It’s a warm balmy day. A soft breeze rustles through the palm trees. From the port of Aqaba stunning vistas of calm, cobalt blue waters stretch till the horizon. Ironically, the big blue enjoys the unusual moniker — the Red Sea. We’ve just driven from Tala Bay, tucked in the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba, a pleasant holiday haven with golden sand beaches skirting the warm waters.
