Have you ever taken a walk through history? Just recently, I joined several of my friends for that very experience. I had never been to Petra before and as I was planning my trip friends suggested that I experience Petra at night. My first thought was, rocks, caves, carvings…how will I see them in the dark? However, I trusted my friend’s recommendation, and was excited by their descriptions of “magical”, and “moving”.
Instead of going to a theme park, simply look around. Jordan is the theme park. With soaring peaks and deep valleys, Jordan is a never-ending rollercoaster of history, culture, religion, nature, and adventure. The possibilities and experiences are endless because everyone sees something different in every site they visit.
The best way to know Jordan is to experience it for yourself and we want to share stories from people who have seen it, touched it, and tasted its fruits. Expats, students, researchers, and teachers all go to the same places, even at the same time, but their experiences and things they take away with them can be wildly different.
